Wisdom has nothing to do with intelligence and that I understood little late. Today I am going to tell you the story of this super intelligent She of my life, name Sia.
I met her in college, became friends, then good friends and lately ended up being so close friends. She was super intelligent girl, whether it class 1 or Graduation, she was always topper. But after college, as both had some personal boundaries or differences, due to this they couldn’t meet for 2 years then they met straight in Delhi, both were working in different companies.
We don’t receive wisdom; we must discover it for ourselves after a journey that no one can take for us or spare us.
They were super happy seeing each other after so long, they started spending more time together on weekends. Sleep over on each others places. Till now Sia had shared her relationship with a guy name, Aman. I was super happy for her. Till now I was not in any relationship after my break up in college.
One say Sia told me about her best friend Gaurav, who was visiting her home, for chitchat. Sia had told me many times about this friend and her whole group in school. Mostly she used to share about Gaurav, how nice he is, how well behaved, how kind and blah blah. So it was quite obvious that I too wanted to meet him.
It was Saturday, when we he was at her home in Dwarka, we 3 were so happy seeing each other, it didn’t look like that I was meeting him first time. We were having tea when Sia said to Gaurav and me that why don’t you date each other? We both were some surprised and embarrassed.
Anyway, she pushed us so much that we started talking to each other on phone and went on couple of dates too. I met him in once in Delhi, and twice or thrice in my hometown as we all 3 were from same home town.
I just, had started liking him. Or I must say started thinking seriously about him. When Sia made few arrangements after talking to Gaurav’s Dad, to meet me. Little surprised, I was, with her over involvement. But i thought, I should not doubt her intent.
Anyway, one day, I was back to Delhi, when I received a call from Gaurav. He said, he and Sia wants to talk to me. She is on conference. We have had our chit chats many a times like this on conference.
But Now he says, “He and Sia are getting married”. I said laughing what kind of joke it is. This time both were speaking, it’s SERIOUS. Aah! Ok. But, how, why, when? They snapped the phone.
No answer. Silence from that side. Cowards.
Tears rolled out of my eyes. It was not a pain of break up but breaking trust.
They didn’t ever call back to me. It’s been 10 years. I still didn’t know the reason. But yes I have forgotten them.
They both were intelligent enough to manipulate things all over. But WISDOM, I am sorry, am not sure about them.
